The first of it's kind for the Central Railway, the Magical Wizards Festival is an event unlike others in the region. Guests could experience just the train ride, or just the festival. The wide scope of the event allowed for an interactive experience that continued throughout the day.
The one hour train ride included performances by actors dressed as wizards in the "Harry Potter" style. The express Night Train also held a special treat.
Guests were encouraged to also get into the act by dressing up in their own costumes.
In the first year of operation, the festival drew almost 2000 people with a waiting list of 4000 more, so be sure to watch the Waterloo Central Railway Facebook page and next year purchase your tickets early!
